This may very well be the only case I really remember from first year torts class (not counting Palsgraf, of course).

I was actually chosen (socratic) to analyze Cardozo's opinion on that one. I won't forget it anytime soon. Post 911, the dude with the fireworks wouldn't have made it two steps past the front counter.
